    Phillip Britt

    Co-founder and Managing Director Aussie Broadband Group

    Phillip is a thought leader who has spent nearly three decades in the telco industry. Starting his first ISP at 18, Phil went on to found Wideband Networks in 2003 with his business partner John Reisinger. He saw a growing need to extend broadband access into regional and rural areas of Australia. As a result, Wideband Networks merged with Westvic Broadband in 2008 to create Aussie Broadband. During this time, he was appointed Managing Director of Aussie Broadband.

    Phillip has taken the company from a small, regionally focussed business to an Australia-wide quality internet service provider, with an outstanding reputation for stable internet and award-winning customer service.

    He is acknowledged as an excellent communicator and inspirational leader who thrives on large challenges. He leads through straight-talking, his ability to engage with people at all levels, and his core belief in making communities better.

    Phillip is a graduate of the JMW Leader of the Future program and is also heavily involved in the not-for-profit sector, particularly with Scouts Victoria.

    Brian Maher

    Chief Executive Officer Aussie Broadband

    Brian joined Aussie Broadband in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary and was integral to the success of Aussie's ASX listing in 2020, before being appointed as Aussie Broadband CEO in February 2024.

    Prior to joining Aussie, Brian has a diverse background in financial management and leadership across a range of industries in insurance, materials handling, professional services and waste management. He has been in executive and senior finance roles since 1990, having served as the CFO at Australian Health Managment ("ahm"), LocalAgentFinder, the CFO and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of health.com.au, and Executive Manager at Suncorp Group.

    Brian is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary, and has a deep understanding of developing fast growth business and a myriad of business types, including ASX, private equity, mutual not-for-profit, and private companies.

    Group Chief Financial Officer

    Andy Giles Knopp joined Aussie Broadband in February 2024 as CFO with more than 25 years' experience leading large and complex organisations in the public and private sectors.

    Cheryl Cai

    General Counsel and Company Secretary

    Cheryl leads the legal and company secretarial functions at Aussie and has over 15 years' experience as a lawyer spanning senior in-house roles and private practice at King & Wood Mallesons and Corrs Chambers Westgarth, where she specialised in commercial litigation and competition and consumer law.

    Chief Growth Officer

    Aaron worked as an IT professional for 10 years before shifting into telecommunications sales. He joined Aussie Broadband as a Business Development Manager in 2008, was promoted to National Sales Manager of the Company's business division in 2014 and then to General Manager of Sales in 2017 and in August 2022 was promoted to Chief Growth Officer.

    Brad Parker

    Chief Infrastructure Engineering Officer

    Brad Parker joined Aussie Broadband as the new Chief Infrastructure Engineering Officer (CIEO) in July 2023. Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise following twenty years as an infrastructure executive in Silicon Valley. Most recently he was the Founder and Principal of a boutique infrastructure consulting and advisory firm, BNC Advisory, LLC.

    Chief Strategy Officer

    Jonathan is an experienced executive with 8 years' experience in the Telco sector. Four of these involved leading Australia's largest research programs on product, customer, marketing, and pricing in the Telco sector. Prior to this, he clocked up 10 years of management consulting experience across Australia and North America.

    Chief Technology Officer

    John has worked in the telecommunications industry since 2001. He was a co-founder of Wideband Networks in 2003 and has held the role of Chief Technology Officer since 2008. John brings strong technical expertise and acumen to the role and is responsible for overseeing the Company's network management.

    Chief Customer Officer

    Kevin has extensive experience across the telecommunications, construction, automotive, and agricultural industries in a range of IT management, customer service focussed, and administration positions. He joined Aussie Broadband in 2014 to lead its technical support operations, became General Manager Customer Service in 2018, and Chief Customer Officer in 2022.

    Andrew Webster

    Chief Transformation Project Officer

    Andrew leads the Information Systems portfolio at Aussie Broadband. A senior executive and non-executive director, Andrew brings multi-industry experience to Aussie including infrastructure, utilities, management consulting, financial services and public sector. Andrew joined Aussie Broadband in 2020 where he built the risk, compliance and regulatory affairs practice before moving into the Chief Transformation Project Officer role in 2024.
