Giving back: Aussie's 2024 end-of-year donation

A graphic on a white background with text that says "End of year donation 2024", with the logos of organisations The DV Collective, Good Things Australia, and Aussie Broadband below.

The holidays are a fantastic opportunity to focus on what really matters – connecting with the people we hold dear.

It’s also a time of giving, especially to those in our community who need it most. It’s this belief that guides our end-of-year donation, and this year we’re proud to be donating $15,000 each to two very important charities – The DV Collective and the Good Things Foundation Australia.

We were fortunate to have both organisations speak to us about their work and what it means to them. Watch the video below to hear their stories.

The DV Collective

Born from founder Kylie’s own struggles in accessing support when experiencing domestic abuse, the DV Collective connects domestic and family violence services with funding and volunteers, enabling them to serve as many people as possible.

Domestic and family violence is – unfortunately - an incredibly prominent issue in Australia, with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) finding that as many as 1 in 6 women have experienced abuse from a partner.

Currently, the DV Collective support over 120 domestic and family violence services, ranging from women’s shelters to educational programs.

Good Things Australia

Good Things Australia Foundation works to close the digital divide in Australia through educational programs and services, ensuring everyone can access the services they need.

According to the Australian Digital Inclusion Index (ADII), 1 in 4 Australians are digitally excluded. This can happen for several reasons, from financial hardship to lack of skills or confidence, and can limit access to critical services or connection with loved ones.
