Yes, you can use your current fixed phone number on Aussie Broadband's VoIP service. We'll do our best to make sure your switch from fixed phone to VoIP is seamless. If your phone service is with another provider, we'll help you port the number over to our VoIP service before you cancel your existing account. With a VoIP service, you'll make calls through the internet and so you'll have your phone service bundled with your nbn® plan. You'll be able to use your existing handset as well, unless it's a pulse dialling phone (such as a rotary one).

How do I connect my home phone to my nbn® modem?

You'll need to plug your handset into your modem. If you purchase a Netcomm modem from Aussie Broadband, it will come pre-configured specifically for your service. If you have a BYO modem for your VoIP service, follow these instructions to set up your VoIP to be compatible with Aussie Broadband's service. Can I use nbn® home phone with an eero router?

Yes, but you will need to purchase an additional adapter. Amazon eero routers, including the Pro 6E and 6+ models, do not have in-built VoIP capability.
